Your Image Specialist will take a common-sense approach to preparing your images for customer sales meetings or final print.
Each image will be custom color corrected then analyzed to determine the retouching needed to help you close the sale.
Your Image Specialist will perform any of the included corrections, as necessary, to make each image the best it can be!

If your image doesn't need all of the corrections in our Portrait Retouching offering but does need some attention, Portrait Retouching-Lite may be for you.
Here's What You'll Get
- First, we will Custom Color Correct your image based on the preferences in your profile.
- Then, your Image Specialist will remove minor blemishes/imperfections from up to three subjects per image.
- Finally, each subject's skin tones will be lightly softened to further smooth imperfections and tone while maintaining a natural look.
This is a cost-effective retouch for images requiring less-extensive work.

Select our Custom Retouching Service for each image that contains extensive issues that require our attention.
We will provide an estimate for these services after evaluating each image.
Place your file(s) in a folder, zip the folder, then upload it to us for evaluation. After approval of our estimate, you will be billed at a rate of $75.00 per hour for this service. It may include:
- Custom color correction for proper white balance, contrast, skin tone, and density
- Advanced manipulation (advanced liquify, background removal/replacement, etc.)
- Compositing
- Extreme stylizing effects
- Image restoration
- or other types of extensive corrections.
You will be billed $5 per image at the time you request an estimate. This amount will be credited to your final invoice should you accept our estimate.
Custom Color Correction
We will adjust your image for proper color balance, contrast, skin tone, and density.
We will warm it up or cool it down, and make other enhancements based on the preferences in your studio's custom profile.

Blemish Removal
Was it Shaw who said"youth is wasted on the young"? If it was, he was right.
Younger subjects won't always require a lot of work, but those minor acne breakouts, temporarily vacant piercing holes, and other minor skin imperfections will be removed from up to three heads per image.

Wrinkle Softening
We know that Mom, Grandma, and aunt Betty all want you to make them look like fashion models, but let's get real. Unless they are or were fashion models, that's just not going to happen.
We will soften wrinkles after removing any blemishes or minor skin imperfections, but soften to maintain a natural look.
Don't worry, in our book "natural look" = fantastic! :)

Eye Enhancement
It's important that eyes sparkle, so we will desaturate and brighten the whites of the eyes, enhance the color and contrast of the iris, and darken the pupil.
Once that's done we'll continue on to darken and increase contrast of the eyelashes and eyebrows.

Teeth Whitening
A heck of a lot cheaper than a visit to the dentist!
We'll whiten the teeth of up to three subjects in each image. We'll only go far enough to make an improvement, while keeping things looking real.

Skin Softening
An option with our other services, Skin Softening is included with each Portrait Retouch.
We will soften the skin tones of each subject while holding detail in the eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, hair, and other important image areas.
Our workflow allows us to smooth the skin while maintaining texture for a realistic look.

Eyeglass Repair
Remove glare and other distractions. Make minor repairs in eyeglasses and the face and eyes behind lenses.

Advanced Skin Retouching
Subjects with more "life experience" sometimes need more skin correction than is covered in our Portrait Retouching service. That's why we offer Advanced Skin Retouching.
Your Image Specialist will focus on softening wrinkles and removing imperfections beyond those covered in our Portrait Retouching service. Of course we'll make sure the subject maintains a natural look.

Background Correction
Please only select this Option to fix minor background issues.
Partial or full background replacement or removal is not covered under this service. Request a quote through our Custom Retouching service for background replacement or removal and other more extensive background corrections.
Hair Correction
If you need stray hairs removed or other hair work performed on your image, send it to our salon and we'll fix it for you!
If your subject needs major restorative work please request an estimate through our Custom Retouching service.

Facial Restoration
In this image, there was material from the blanket covering parts of the baby's face. The material was removed and the mouth restored to finish the image.
This same service can be used to open, close, or reshape eyes, perform nose jobs, restore or reshape mouths, and repair ears.
The price for this service is per body-part that needs work. And yes, the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears are all considered separate body parts. ;-)

"Rembrandt" Highlighting
Borrowing a technique from the master himself, we will accentuate, add-to, or create light on your subject providing a timeless look to your image.

Digital Plastic Surgery
Every photographer dreads getting that request for retouching that goes beyond their abilities. Such is usually the case with "Digital Plastic Surgery."
While it doesn't require years of expensive med school, it does take quite a bit of Photoshop skill to perform tummy-tucks, face-lifts, and the like.
Just tell us what "procedure" needs to be performed and we'll take it from there.
